讲座摘要

In 1880, G. Stokes conjectured that the free boundary of 2D irrotational water wave has symmetric 120 degree at the stagnation point, which is so-called Stokes conjecture. Varvaruca and Weiss gave a rigorous proof on the Stokes conjecture via a geometric approach in 2010. In this talk, we will introduce the fundamental idea to deal the singularity of the free boundary of the water waves at the degenerate point. Moreover, we will mention our recent results on the singularity analysis on the free boundary of the axially symmetric water wave with general vorticity at the degenerate point.

个人简介

杜力力，深圳大学、四川大学教授。2005年在四川大学获得博士学位，2006年至2008年，中山大学数学学院博士后；2008年至2009年香港中文大学数学科学研究所博士后；2014年获四川省杰出青年基金，2016年获国家优秀青年科学基金，2017年入选教育部“长江学者奖励计划”青年学者，2018年入选四川省学术和技术带头人，2021年获国家杰出青年科学基金。2021年获得四川省数学会首届（2020年度）基础数学奖一等奖（唯一完成人）。
