A survey on the geometric Langlands

Abstract

Langlands program concerns a conjectural correspondence between Galois representations and automorphic representation, and geometric Langlands is a geometric reformulation of the classical Langlands program in the case of function fields. In this talk, I will give a brief historical survey on the geometric Langlands.
